About Randy Weber
A Public Servant, A Proven Conservative, and A Successful Pearland Business Owner
Randy Weber was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 2008. During the 81st Legislative Session Randy served on the Environmental Regulation Committee as well as the Public Education Committee.
As a freshman Randy successfully passed 11 bills that the Governor signed into law. These new laws include helping disabled veterans, establishing a victim assistance program to provide services to domestic victims of trafficking, and many local bills to improve our quality of life in Brazoria and Matagorda County. Major legislation passed this year includes: HB 3 relating to public school accountability, curriculum and promotion requirements; HB 130 relates to an enhanced quality full-day prekindergarten program; and the Texas Windstorm Insurance program was funded.

Randy was awarded the Courageous Conservative Award by the Texas Conservative Coalition, based on his spirited defense of conservative values and his tireless work ethic to advance and defend conservative principles. He was also the recipient of the Taxpayer’s Hero Award from Texans for Fiscal Responsibility. Randy was appointed to serve on the Agriculture, Environment, and Energy Committee as well as the Education Committee for the National Conference of State Legislatures.
Randy is a public servant, a proven conservative, and – for over a quarter century – a successful Pearland business owner. But if you ask he will tell you, he is a Christian and devoted family man.
Randy started his air conditioning company Weber’s Air & Heat in 1981 from scratch, and grew his business by demonstrating the work ethic of a true Texan. Like others who have successfully moved from business to public service, it is Randy’s real-world experience in the private sector that underpins his commitment to lower taxes, his contempt for wasteful spending, and his firm dedication to better schools.
After establishing his company, Randy served on Pearland City Council from 1990-1996. During that time, he was elected to serve as president of the Brazoria County Cities Association, where he developed understanding of the area’s critical needs.
Randy is not only a family man, a businessman, and a community leader; he is also a principled Party activist. His involvement with the GOP began in 1984, when he worked with Barry Rose on President Reagan’s reelection campaign. By 1988, when George Bush ran for President, Randy had risen to serve as Chairman of the Pearland Area Republican Party Headquarters.
Randy Weber has consistently supported our party and its candidates with time, energy, and money. He strongly believes in the principles of our founding fathers and knows his city council experience, business experience and conservative track record are attributes he brings to the Texas Legislature. Randy will stay true to his principles – and continue to work hard to earn and keep your trust.
Randy has served as a Bible Study and Men’s Group leader and as the Chairman of the Men’s Ministry and is a Deacon at his church. He has lived in a five mile radius for over 50 years, and been married to Brenda Weber, a Pearland schoolteacher, for over 30 years. He is a graduate of Alvin Community College and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. Randy and Brenda have three children and three wonderful grandchildren.
